Middleburg, VA, May 21 – At the recently concluded Annual Conference of the Korea Water Resources Association
(KWRA) in Daejeon, Korea, current President of the American Water Resources Association (AWRA), Ari Michelsen and Executive Vice President Kenneth D. Reid signed a Memorandum of Agreement with KWRA.

AWRA Donates to Haitian Relief Efforts

Opportunities

Each applicant must be a national AWRA member. One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a full-time undergraduate student working toward his/her first undergraduate degree and who is enrolled in a program related to water resources for the 2010-2011 academic year.... All applications and supporting materials must be received at the AWRA headquarters by APRIL 23, 2010.

AWRA Award for Exemplary Contributions to Water
Resources Data and Information Systems

The AWRA Award for Exemplary Contributions to Water Resources Data and Information Systems is awarded periodically as part of the AWRA Specialty Conference on GIS in Water Resources. Its purpose is to recognize individuals who have made sustained contributions to water resources data by providing leadership in the provision of particular kinds of data, or by improving synthesis of water data using geographic and other information systems.
