 Abstract Submission: Abstracts are being sought
for Conference oral presentations and panels (see list of
topics). English is the official language for both abstracts
and presentations. ABSTRACTS MUST BE RECEIVED VIA THE
AWRA WEB SITE ON OR BEFORE April 1, 2013. Abstracts
will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee for
originality, technical merit, currency, and relevance to
the Conference topics. If your abstract is accepted, you
will be given the opportunity to publish a short paper in
the Conference Proceedings (see below for more information) Notification of Acceptance/Placement: Acceptance
notification will be made via email to the corresponding
author by April 19, 2013. It will also notify the corresponding
author that A PROCEEDINGS PAPER OR ABSTRACT IS REQUIRED
ONLINE BY JULY 1, 2013 for review. Conference Proceedings: A proceedings of conference papers (maximum 6 pages) will be produced and made available on the AWRA website. Proceedings papers will be reviewed by the Technical Committee. The corresponding author will be notified for any corrections needed for publication. CORRECTED proceedings papers or abstracts will be due July 26, 2013. Post-Conference Publication: Authors of selected papers may be invited to submit their papers to be considered for publication in a special issue of Journal of American Water Resources Association (SCI indexed journal). All papers will be peer-reviewed according to JAWRA publication requirements. This task will be carried out by Publishing Committee Chairs/Guest Editors. to give scheduled presentations are disruptive and leave
gaps in the program that are distracting to all attendees.
Before submitting an abstract, authors should be confident
that they will attend the meeting and make the presentation
or find a replacement. If cancellation is unavoidable, the
presenter should notify Patricia Reid at pat@awra.org by
AUGUST 26, 2013 otherwise a fee will be charged.
Late cancellation fees may be waived on a case by case basis
by contacting Patricia Reid. |
