The AWRA has assembled a national panel of environmental flow specialists to begin the Summer Specialty Conference on Environmental Flows. Six experts will briefly present their experience and perspectives on the history and trends in environmental flow analysis for both regional and individual water project habitat protection procedures. An open discussion on the potential future course of environmental flow science will follow for the remainder of the opening plenary session.
