The 2009 Collaborating for a Sustainable Water Future conferences (3 regional and 1 national) generated rich discussion concerning the need for a holistic national water resources vision.  Join us for a 1.5 hour facilitated session (offered twice) to discuss the value of having a holistic vision and to recommend principles to guide its formation.  Information provided to attendees will include highlights of an analysis performed on water visions and missions from Federal, state and regional organizations to identify common themes and key differences.  The visions’ analysis will serve as the building block for identifying common themes and fundamental Guiding Principles. The result of this session will be a compelling case for continuing the dialogue to develop a water resources vision.  The way ahead for more effective water resources planning and management at multiple levels must be grounded in a clear logic.  Join the dialogue and help further the development of the nation’s water resources vision.
