Summary:

For over 25 years, M&A has provided water resource solutions to clients in the mining, industrial, municipal, power, and private sectors. We offer services in four key areas: Water Supply & Recharge, Environmental Hydrogeology, Mining Hydrogeology, and Water Policy & Economics.

We’ve developed and managed groundwater supplies in some of the world’s most complex environments with the help of cutting-edge data acquisition, monitoring, and models that simulate flow in virtually any type of hydrogeologic system. M&A is a leader in developing artificial recharge solutions using potable water and effluent sources.

M&A offers turnkey support for a range of contamination problems. We provide technical support for settlement negotiations and litigation, as well as expert witness services and third-party reviews. We also work with regulatory agencies on permitting and compliance issues.

M&A has been consulting to most of the major domestic and international mining entities for decades, finding innovative ways to model dewatering processes, develop custom monitoring tools, and test deep boreholes under challenging chemical and temperature regimes.

Water resource development is subject to a complex, continuously changing body of regulations and policies. Fortunately, M&A has the expertise to help clients planning for their water-related investments. Our knowledge of political, regulatory, and economic trends is integral to negotiating water rights, conducting water valuations, and diversifying water portfolios.
