WATER RESOURCES CAREER PROFILES
On the following pages the careers of water resources
professionals are profiled to help students and others understand the
variety and nature of employment possibilities in the field of water resources.
All of these people have been recommended as outstanding examples of professionals.
Examples of senior-level and entry-level career paths are given as well
as examples of those in private consulting, government agency and academic
employment. Each person profiled was asked to respond to the same questions
to describe the nature of their work, the things they liked most about
their position, and the things they found most challenging. In addition,
each person profiled was asked to give advice based upon their perspective
to students trying to decide the career path is best suited to their interests
and skills. We hope that these individual career perspectives will be
useful and we welcome your comments and suggestions for improvements.
