The Delaware River Basin Commission, a federal-interstate water resources agency, is seeking to fill the following full-time position:

** ENGINEER/HYDROLOGIST**

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The engineer/hydrologist provides technical services to support the negotiation of Interstate Flow Management issues in the basin. This includes modification and use of the Commission's daily flow model, analysis of modeling results and presentations to the Commission's Flow Management Technical Advisory Committee.

This individual also will work with Monitoring and Modeling personnel to upgrade flow modeling capabilities and provide assistance in the development of the Commission's Flood Loss Reduction Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or Hydrology, plus six years experience in Hydrology, reservoir systems modeling, and flood loss reduction activities including modeling with HEC-II or HEC-RAS. PE License desirable. Completed graduate work may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of three years.
