Schuylkill River Basin
Source Water Protection Prototype
Maps of the Schuylkill River Basin have
been prepared showing the locations of major tributaries, USGS stream gages,
municipal water intakes, major roads and river mile locations. Real time
stream flow information can be obtained by "clicking" on the stream gage.
Storage data for the Blue Marsh Reservoir is also available.
The maps are prototypes and will be expanded based on needs and your
comments. The initial purpose was to consolidate information for Source
Water Protection activities. Ultimately, stream time of travel data will
be included to aid users in the event of a pollution occurrence or emergency
somewhere in the watershed.
