Introduction:
The field of hydrology and water resources includes
science, engineering, and management of water and related natural
resources.
Oregon State University
recognizes the multidisciplinary
nature of hydrology and water resources and offers a comprehensive approach
to meet the challenge.
Graduate courses and degree programs in hydrology
and water resources are offered through departments, and an interdisciplinary
minor degree in Water Resources is coordinated by the Oregon
Water Resources Research Institute (OWRRI). Seminars in hydrology and
water resources host invited speakers and are open to the public. Student activities,
including quarterly field trips with hydrology themes, are organized by
Hydrophiles,
the OSU student chapter of AWRA and AIH.
