The newly formed Floodplain Management Committee of NJ-AWRA provides a great forum for these activities. Mission Statement

The Floodplain Management Committee of the New Jersey Section of the American Water Resource Association (NJ-AWRA) is dedicated to reducing loss of life and property damage resulting from floods. The Committee seeks to accomplish this goal through education, outreach, training and coordination of flood mitigation activities between state and federal agencies, local government, property owners and private sector professionals.
