2020 Spring Geospatial Water Technology Conference – Coronavirus Update (COVID-19)

Additional Resources

After extensive deliberation and careful consideration, AWRA has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Spring Conference scheduled to take place on March 23 – 26, due to the spread of and health concerns associated with COVID-19.

We are actively working to reschedule the 2020 Geospatial Water Technology Conference: Complex Systems and associated David Maidment Symposium for a later date this year. With more attendees in recent years, a sold out hotel, and sold out programs, this event was poised for success. We know the rescheduled event will be just as successful. Please look for our announcement of a new date for the Austin event in the weeks ahead.

Next Steps:

  1. Please cancel your hotel reservation immediately. Although we are planning to use the same hotel in later months, they are not able to transfer hotel reservations to a later date.
  2. If you are a presenter and your abstract has been accepted, please know that we plan on keeping the technical program the same, albeit with possible agenda modifications within the rescheduled conference dates.

Our team is available to respond to any questions you may have (email: [email protected]).

Thank you for your understanding in this complex situation. The health and safety of all our attendees, your families, our staff and volunteers, and the community at large are of utmost importance to us.
