Tuesday Night Event
Hosted and Sponsored by the AWRA Washington State Section
Nov. 10, 2009
6:00 to 10:00 PM
Stroll down to Seattle’s colorful waterfront and join us Tuesday night for an unforgettable evening at one of Seattle’s most entertaining attractions: the Seattle Aquarium, perched over Elliott Bay on Seattle’s beautiful downtown waterfront. You will gain access to the entire facility, delicious hors d’oeuvres and plenty of friendly banter with your colleagues and friends.
The Aquarium offers a sea chest of wonderful experiences:
- See playful otters, sensuous octopus, flashy fish, and other amazing sea creatures in award-winning natural exhibits.
- Touch live sea stars, urchins and more in the “Life on the Edge” exhibit, where you can feel the surge of Washington's wild outer coast and the calm majesty of her inland seas.
- Explore the wonders of the Pacific Northwest’s marine ecosystem with the 120,000 gallon “Window on Washington Waters” exhibit; and go nose to nose with the colorful inhabitants of a tropical Pacific coral reef
- Stand in the center of a giant suspended aquarium while exotic fish and other denizens of the deep swim around you.
As a special treat, there will be an otter feeding at 8 PM, a real high point with all visitors to the Aquarium. Join us and your colleagues for a fun-filled evening spent “at sea.”
